Booking

Klook sells a yacht cruise of about an hour with dolphin watching.

Gimnyeong Yacht Tour sails from Gimnyeong on Jeju's northeast coast, where the sea is a dolphin habitat and the animals sometimes swim alongside the boat. The yacht is Bona, a 52-foot aluminum sailing yacht (model BONA520), run by a crew with some 30 years of sailing experience. The operator also serves seafood meals made with abalone, conch, seaweed, octopus and fish brought in by Gimnyeong's haenyeo divers.

Tips

  • Dolphin sightings depend on the day and the weather, so treat them as a bonus rather than a promise.
