Maze Land in Gujwa-eup builds its puzzles around Samda, Jeju's traditional 'three plenties' of stone, wind and women. The stone maze is built from basalt and red scoria, while the 'wind' maze is grown from American arborvitae hedges. In the Maze & Puzzle Museum you can try puzzles and see maze legends and maze-related artifacts from the 14th century to today, and humorous stone figures from Jeju folk tales by master stonemason Jang Gong-ik line the paths outside.
