KKday sells a Chungju day with a lakeside café stop and a Suanbo foot bath, and Klook a 2-day Chungju tour from Seoul that includes the lake.
Chungju Lake formed behind Chungju Dam and is so big that it's nicknamed an 'inland sea.' The flooded valleys stretch across three areas, Chungju, Jecheon and Danyang, and five piers serve sightseeing boats: Chungju Naru by the main dam, Worak Naru below Woraksan, Cheongpung Naru near the Cheongpung Cultural Heritage Complex, Janghoe Naru by the peaks of Gudambong and Oksunbong, and Danyang Naru in Danyang town. Woraksan National Park, Songgye Valley, Suanbo Hot Springs and Danyang's caves and temples are all within reach.

Tips
- The lake is big enough that the piers are far apart, so pick the one near what else you plan to see, such as Cheongpung for the heritage complex or Janghoe for Gudambong and Oksunbong.
