Yeongildae Beach영일대해수욕장

At a glance

KTO calls Yeongildae the largest beach on Korea's east coast. It is a city beach in northern Pohang, with fine sand, a gently shelving seabed and small waves that suit families, plus showers, changing rooms and toilets. Summer brings water sports and festivals, and the Yeongildae Sea Cable Car, the Pohang Canal and the POSCO History Museum are close by.
