Space Walk is an artwork you climb: a looping steel track 333 m long with 717 steps, its curves and evening lights a symbol of Pohang as a city of steel and light. From the track the view opens all around, over the city, the steelworks glittering at night, and sunrise and sunset on Yeongil Bay, and it has been named among the world's 19 most beautiful staircases. Access is closed in rain or strong wind, so check before you go.

  Time your visit for sunset or after dark, when the track is lit and the steelworks shine across the bay; from April to October it stays open until 20:00 on weekdays and 21:00 on weekends.
