Skyline Luge Tongyeong opened in 2017 as the first luge track in Korea, run by the New Zealand-based Skyline brand. The Skyride chairlift lifts you up, and you steer a gravity-powered cart down one of four tracks, 3.8 km in total, with views of the sea and the hills. It was named one of the Korea Tourism 100 in 2019 and 2020 and has carried around 6 million riders.

Tips

  • The Tongyeong Cable Car is just up the same road (205 Balgae-ro), so the luge and the cable car pair easily in one visit.
