Booking
Klook, GetYourGuide and KKday sell day tours from Seoul to Seoraksan, most paired with Naksansa Temple, and Klook has a seasonal autumn-foliage tour.
Seoraksan became a national park in 1970, and in 1982 it was named Korea's first UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The park spreads across Sokcho, Goseong, Inje and Yangyang and rises to its highest point at Daecheongbong peak. Most visitors start on the Outer Seorak (Oeseorak) side at the Sogongwon entrance in Sokcho, the trailhead for Ulsanbawi Rock, Biryong Falls, Geumganggul Cave and Cheonbuldong Valley, and the base of the cable car up to Gwongeumseong.
