Booking
Klook sells a 2-day guided Gongju and Sejong tour from Seoul whose second day includes the lake park.
Sejong Lake Park is the city's central green space, and its lake holds five themed islands: a stage island whose 672-seat floating stage is shaped like a river pebble from the Geumgang, a festival island for events, a water-play island with a sandy beach, a water-flower island with a boardwalk among aquatic plants, and a wetland island. Walking and cycling paths follow the shore, with stretches planted as pine, cherry, ginkgo, fringe-tree and maple walks. The Presidential Archives Exhibition Hall and the National Sejong Arboretum are close by.
