Booking
KKday sells a 10.5-hour private charter from Seoul that stops here with Hwarok Cave and the Yeoju Premium Outlets.
The park is built around the Seven-story Stone Pagoda in Tappyeong-ri, a National Treasure from the Unified Silla period that KTO calls the largest stone pagoda of its time. Its nickname, Jungangtap ('central pagoda'), comes from the belief that it stands at the center of the Korean peninsula. Around it spread wide lawns with outdoor sculptures, the Chungju Museum and a liquor museum, while Tangeumho, a lake formed by a dam on the Namhangang River, is used for water sports in summer.
