Booking
Klook, KKday and GetYourGuide sell autumn day tours from Seoul that visit the arboretum after Jangtaesan Recreational Forest, along with Sungsimdang bakery.
Hanbat Arboretum sits in Dunsan, Daejeon's main downtown, and KTO bills it as the largest urban arboretum in Korea. It is divided into an East Garden, a West Garden and a tropical plant greenhouse, and it links up with the green corridor formed by Useongi hill, the Gapcheon and Yudeungcheon streams and the grounds of the Government Complex. The Daejeon Arts Center, the Museum of Art and the Yeonjeong traditional music center are right beside it, so it's easy to pair a garden walk with a show or exhibition, and the arboretum runs forest education programs too.
