Booking
Klook sells a templestay program at Geumseonsa.
Geumseonsa sits in Gugi-dong in Jongno, facing Inwangsan across the valley. Follow Bukhansan National Park's Bibong course past the Office of the Five Northern Korean Provinces and its one-pillar gate is the first you reach. Beyond Banyajeon, the hall used for services, a pine tree more than 200 years old stands in the middle of the grounds, and 108 steps lead up to Daejeokgwangjeon, the main hall at the temple's highest point. To one side are Samseonggak shrine and an arched stone bridge over water running down from the mountain.
