GetYourGuide sells a guided hike of the whole 18 km wall (7–8 hours) or a half course (4–5 hours).
The Seoul City Wall (Hanyangdoseong) once ringed the Joseon capital, running from Bugaksan, its main mountain, over Inwangsan, Naksan and Namsan. Walking the 18.6 km circuit today is an urban trek through history, culture and green ridges in the middle of the city. The trail is divided into four sections: Baegak (Changuimun to Hyehwamun), Naksan (Hyehwamun to Heunginjimun), Namsan, also called Mongmyeoksan (Jangchung Gymnasium to Baekbeom Square), and Inwang (the Donuimun site to Changuimun).

Tips
- Walk it one section at a time: each of the four sections runs between named gates or landmarks, so it is easy to start and stop.
- The Baegak section crosses Bugaksan, which has seasonal trail hours (from November, 09:00–17:00 with last entry at 15:00), so plan that section for the daytime.
