At a glance

When the new double-track Gyeongchun Line opened, the old rails were handed over to rail bikes. The Gimyujeong course starts right beside Gimyujeong Station and runs 8.5 km to old Gangchon Station: you pedal the first 6 km, mostly downhill past fields, hills and themed tunnels, then switch to a 'romance train' for the last 2.5 km beside the Bukhan River. A shuttle bus takes you back to the start. The boarding area has photo spots such as a giant book sculpture and colorful umbrellas, plus a cafe and a zip line.
