Elysian Gangchon goes out of its way for first-timers: rental gear is handed out at dedicated counters, and the slopes are covered by lift anti-fall systems, safety fences and mats, and patrols at key points. Six-seat high-speed lifts and a premium reserved-ticket system aim to keep lift lines short. Set on the Bukhan River in Chuncheon, it's also easy to reach without a car, by Gyeongchun Line commuter trains or ITX-Cheongchun.
