Bidulginang Waterfall비둘기낭 폭포

Bidulginang means 'pigeon pouch': the rock around the fall curves into a hollow like a pigeon's nest, though another story credits the rock pigeons that once lived in its caves. The fall drops at the lower end of the Bulmucheon stream into a gorge cut through basalt, where you can pick out river-carved caves, columnar and sheet jointing, and the separate layers of lava that flowed down the Hantan River. Villagers sheltered here during the Korean War, and the site has been a protected natural monument since 2012. The Hantan River Sky Bridge is under a kilometer away.
