At a glance

Twelve media-art rooms spread across about 1,500 pyeong (roughly 5,000 m²) here, each built around the idea of 'Eternal Nature' and combining striking visuals with sound and scent. The Gangneung branch takes 'Valley' as its theme, drawing on the Baekdudaegan mountain range that runs through Gangwon and on Gangneung's own setting. It's the third permanent ARTE MUSEUM from the media-art company d'strict, opened in December 2021 near Gyeongpo Lake.
