COSRX calls it a daily moisturizer for all skin types: a weightless lotion built on birch sap, which the brand describes as a skin-friendly natural ingredient full of vitamins and antioxidants. YesStyle recommends it for sensitive, oily or acne-prone skin, saying the birch sap improves hydration while keeping oil and water in balance.

According to COSRX, birch sap makes up 70% of the formula.

The YesStyle listing's ingredients start with birch (Betula platyphylla japonica) juice, butylene glycol and glycerin, and include panthenol, sodium hyaluronate and allantoin.

COSRX notes that the formula was reformulated: fragrance ingredients were excluded and 4-terpineol, a main component of tea tree, was added to reduce skin reactions. Because the listed ingredients may differ between versions, check the ingredient list of the one you buy.
