Booking
No booking needed to visit. On KKday, the lake is part of a two-day spring tour from Seoul and of the airport-departure option of a Daegu day tour.
Suseongmot was dug in 1925, under Japanese rule, to store water for farming, and today it's one of the places Daegu residents go to unwind. A path of about 2 km circles the lake, with benches and trees along the shore and gentle hills behind. You can rent a boat or a duck-shaped pedal boat, and Suseong Land beside the water has rides such as a Viking ship, bumper cars and a carousel. After dark the shore lights up, and a media-art musical fountain plays during its season.
