Booking

Day tours that stop at the village, along with Chinatown, Gwangmyeong Cave and a rail bike ride, can be booked on Klook and KKday.

Songwol-dong takes its name from the moon seen through its pine trees, and after Incheon's port opened in 1883 it became a well-off district where Germans and other foreigners lived. Today its lanes are decorated like a storybook, with 11 themed streets such as Dorothy Street and Little Red Riding Hood Street, and murals of Korean folk tales deeper inside. It's open at all hours and sits right beside Chinatown.
