Booking

A guided food-and-history walk that passes the Open Port street and Sinpo Market can be booked on GetYourGuide. Walks with Incheon's culture and tourism guides are available by reservation.

After Incheon opened as a port in the late 19th century, Japan, Qing China and other countries set up concessions here, and Korea's first modern park, banks and hotels went up. Walking the Open Port streets today, you pass the stone stairway that marked the line between the Qing and Japanese concessions, Western-style buildings, the Incheon Open Port Museum, the Incheon Art Platform in converted port warehouses, and the Jajangmyeon Museum in the building of Gonghwachun, Korea's first Chinese restaurant. Incheon's culture and tourism guides lead walks here if you book ahead.
