Day tours that include time in Chinatown, with stops such as Wolmido, a rail bike, a luge or a seagull-feeding ferry, are on Klook, KKday and GetYourGuide, and GetYourGuide also lists a guided food-and-history walk.
Chinatown took shape after Incheon's port opened in 1883 and the area was made an extraterritorial zone for Qing China in 1884. For more than 120 years ethnic Chinese families have kept their customs alive in its red-painted lanes; shops that once sold goods imported from China have mostly become Chinese restaurants, many run by the second and third generation. Come hungry: besides jajangmyeon, which was first made here, look for white jajang, lamb skewers, hollow gonggal-ppang bread and oven-baked dumplings.
