Booking

Klook and GetYourGuide sell shared yacht rides that leave from Sevit Island.

Some Sevit, also called Sebitseom, is a cultural complex built as a landmark on the Han River. Its buildings stand on floating pontoons, an approach described as a world first. The three 'islands' are named for the light of a day in Seoul: Chavit for the rising sun, Solbit for midday and Gavit for sunset, while Yevit, a media art gallery, stands for gentle moonlight. Shared yacht rides on the river leave from here.

Tips

  • The Banpo Bridge Moonlight Rainbow Fountain runs right beside the islands from mid-March through October, with evening shows from 19:30, so time a night visit to a show.
