Klook sells day tours from Seoul that include Samyang Roundhill, paired with the Sogeumsan Suspension Bridge or with the Balwangsan cable car.
Samyang Roundhill, also known as Samyang Ranch, opened in 1972 on clean upland pasture between 850 and 1,470 m above sea level. It describes itself as the largest ranch in Asia, about 20 km² of grassland, and the wind turbines on its hills form the biggest wind farm of their kind in Korea. The headline event is a sheepdog herding show on the open pasture, the only one in the Daegwallyeong area, and you can also feed sheep and ostriches. Milk from cows raised on its organic pasture goes into milk, ice cream and manju (filled buns) that are sold only here.
