Booking
Book online at whalecity.kr or buy at the pier if seats remain; KKday sells a day tour from Busan that pairs a Jangsaengpo cruise with Tongdosa Temple.
Two kinds of trips leave Jangsaengpo port: a whale-watching run of about three hours that heads out to sea in search of whales and dolphins, and a 90-minute coastal tour, with an evening version on some nights. On board are a stage, a café and a snack bar. The service started in July 2009 — KTO calls it the first of its kind in Korea — and moved to a larger cruise-class ship in 2013, the year a minke whale and then huge pods of common dolphins were sighted. The Whale Culture Village and the Whale Museum are close by.
