Booking
GetYourGuide sells a private full-day Ulsan tour from Busan with a licensed guide that includes Daewangam Park.
Daewangam Park sits on the tip of Ulsan's coast where it juts furthest into the East Sea, and with Ganjeolgot it's one of the first places in Korea to see the sunrise. From the entrance, a 600 m path runs through pines around a century old to the Ulgi lighthouse, then opens onto cliffs piled with huge rocks. Legend says the queen of King Munmu of Silla became a dragon after death and sank beneath the great rock, Daewangam, to guard the sea. A 303 m suspension bridge now spans part of the coast, and a pebble beach of about 500 m lies below.
