Booking

No booking is needed to visit. GetYourGuide sells a west Jeju bus tour from Seogwipo that stops at Hyeopjae and Geumneung beaches.

Little Biyangdo island, floating just offshore, sets the scene at Hyeopjae, a west-coast beach beside Hallim Park. The sand is white and full of crushed shell, and the cobalt water is shallow and slopes gently, so families come to swim. Toward the southwest the beach merges with Geumneung Beach, and locals often treat the two as one. A thick pine grove behind the shore is used for camping and forest walks, and the evening sunset is part of the draw.
