Booking
Klook sells a bus tour from Busan that stops at the museum and includes a rail bike ride at Bukcheon.
Hwagae, in the valleys between Jirisan and the Seomjin River, is known as the place where tea was first planted in Korea, and this museum was set up to keep the area's old tea culture alive. Rather than relying on display cases, it leans on hands-on exhibits and classes: you can try a traditional tea ceremony, pick tea leaves, pan-roast them, or make doncha, a coin-shaped pressed tea. Entry to the museum itself is free.
