Daegu Modern Alleys is a walking route through the old lanes of Jung-gu in central Daegu, where streets and buildings from the city's modern era still stand. It was named a 'Star of Korean Tourism' in 2012 and made the Korea Tourism 100 list three years in a row, doing much to turn alley walks into a popular way to travel around Korea. The lanes are open at all times, and there are plenty of photo stops along the way.
