Who are they?
BTS (방탄소년단, Bangtan Sonyeondan) has seven members: RM (RM), Jin (진), Suga (슈가), J-Hope (제이홉), Jimin (지민), V (뷔) and Jung Kook (정국). The agency is BigHit Music, a HYBE label. English Wikipedia gives the debut as June 12, 2013 (single album 2 Cool 4 Skool) with the first M Countdown stage on June 13; Korean Wikipedia says June 13, so we say June 2013. The fandom is ARMY (아미).
What’s new
English Wikipedia says the members finished military service by June 2025 and that ARIRANG was released on March 20, 2026 and ranked No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for two weeks. Its lead single “SWIM” is described as their seventh US No. 1 single; our home card, citing Billboard, says it debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100. The 2026–2027 world tour began April 9 in Goyang.
Signature songs
Wikipedia lists albums such as Wings (2016), Love Yourself: Tear (2018, the first Korean act to top the Billboard 200), Map of the Soul: 7 (2020), Proof (2022) and ARIRANG (2026), and songs including “Dynamite” (2020, their first US Hot 100 No. 1), “Butter,” “Permission to Dance” and “My Universe” with Coldplay.
If you’re new
