Booking
Guided day tours from Seoul that pair the library with Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, plus Gwangmyeong Cave or the Korean Folk Village on some tours, can be booked on Klook and GetYourGuide.
Suwon's Byeolmadang (Starfield) Library is the second of its kind, after the original in Seoul's COEX Mall. Its towering shelves climb four floors, from the 4th to the 7th, to a height of about 22 m, and because the floors are left open you can see them from anywhere on those levels. Each floor has cafés and seats for reading or resting, and talks and performances are held regularly.
