Booking
Klook sells two day tours from Busan that include a ride: a Namhae Island tour, and the Sacheon-course dates of the October Jinju lantern festival tour.
Sacheon's cable car runs a 2.43 km loop from Daebang Station out over the sea to Choyang Station, up to Gaksan Mountain and back down — KTO calls it the first cable car in Korea to cross both sea and mountain. Get off at Gaksan Station and climb to the observatory for the view over the water; from the cabin you'll see fishing boats dotting the bay, and now and then a finless porpoise. Of its 42 cabins, 14 are 'crystal' cabins with glass floors.
