Booking
No booking needed to visit. Odongdo is part of a Klook day tour from Busan and of KKday and GetYourGuide shore excursions for cruise passengers.
Odongdo is a small island in Yeosu that marks one end of Hallyeohaesang National Park. It is named for its paulownia-leaf outline and the paulownia trees that once grew thickly here, but today it is known for camellias: some 3,000 of them grow among 193 tree species, the first flowers can open as early as October, and full bloom comes around mid-March. Paths lead past high sea cliffs and rocks with names like Sora Rock and Elephant Rock to a lighthouse at the island's southern end. Only permitted vehicles may drive in, so visitors walk or take the Camellia Train, and boats also call at the island.
