Booking

Klook sells two spring day tours from Seoul that include the Taean tulip festival here, and GetYourGuide sells a spring cherry-blossom tour of the Taean coast that also visits the tulip festival. All run in spring only.

Korea Flower Park lies beside Kkotji Beach on Anmyeondo, a stretch of coast known for its sunsets. It opens for flower seasons rather than all year: tulips in spring, then summer and autumn flower shows, with flowers from around the world grouped by color, shape and variety. The park has been putting on flower festivals since 2006, and its spring Taean World Tulip Festival is the main event of the year.

Tips

  • Stay for sunset at Kkotji Beach next door.
  • Tulip tours follow the festival's dates, which change every year, so book once the season is announced.
