At a glance

Juwangsan (720.6 m) is counted among Korea's three great rocky mountains, and since March 30, 1976 it has been a national park covering about 106 km² of Cheongsong and Yeongdeok counties. Its main draw is the Juwang Valley, lined with cliffs and named rocks such as Haksodae and Geupsudae, waterfalls, mineral springs and Juwanggul, the cave where legend says Juwang hid. From the rugged heights of Wanggeoam you can see the East Sea in the distance.
