Hajungdo is an island in the Geumho River on Daegu's northern side, between the Paldalgyo and Nogokgyo bridges. The land used to flood often and pollute the river until it was cleaned up and planted with seasonal flowers, and a public naming contest in 2021 renamed it Geumho Flower Island. Expect fields of canola and barley in spring and cosmos and buckwheat in autumn, with silver grass planted at the downstream end to help clean the water. It is counted among the eight scenic sights of Daegu's Buk-gu district.
