Danyang Para Village is a purpose-built paragliding site in Gagok-myeon with wide views of the Namhangang River as it curves through Danyang. KTO describes it as one of the first sites set up after paragliding arrived in Korea in 1989, and it has hosted national tandem competitions and a world precision-landing event in 2018. Take-off and landing happen at the same place, with the reception desk and briefing room right next to them, so a tandem flight here is simple to organize. It has also appeared in TV shows, ads and films.
