No booking needed to visit; KKday sells an autumn day tour from Seoul with a cable car ride and hike on the Wanju side, followed by the National Buyeo Museum.

Daedunsan rises from the Geumnam ridge above the Mangyeong plain, its granite outcrops weathered into strange rock formations among layers of dense forest, which is why it has long been called the 'Geumgangsan of Honam'. Near the top, the Daedunsan Cloud Bridge is the classic sight: cross it to reach Yaksujeong, then climb the Samseon Stairs toward Crown Rock. Other spots include the Nakjodae sunset point, Taegosa temple, Geumgang Falls, Dongsim Rock and the Geumgang and Okgyedong valleys, all below the 878 m main peak, Macheondae.
