Bomun Tourist Complex경주 보문관광단지

At a glance

Bomun was laid out around Bomun Lake on the old fortress grounds of Myeonghwalsan, about 10 km east of the city center. The whole area, about 8 km², is a designated hot-spring district and special tourist zone, with large hotels, family condos, golf courses, water sports, lakeside paths and a fountain. Gyeongju is full of cherry trees, and KTO singles out the shores of Bomun Lake as a blossom spot when they bloom in April.
