Biryongdam is a small reservoir in the woods near Uirimji, nicknamed the 'magic castle' for the castle-shaped structures by the water that make it look like a corner of Europe. On a calm day the castle and trees reflect sharply in the water, which has made it a favorite photo spot. A waterside deck runs around the reservoir as part of the Uirimji healing forest trail, made up of a pine-scented path and a water-mist path, and the Biryongdam rest area in the middle has animal photo props and benches.
