GetYourGuide sells two tours from Busan that include the cave: a private full-day Ulsan tour and an outskirts day tour with an optional boat ride.
Amethyst Cavern Park lies about 3 km southeast of Eonyang, at the mouth of Jakcheonjeong Valley below Mt. Sinbulsan. Of the hundred or so amethyst mines that once operated, most have closed, and this is one of the tunnels left, opened to visitors as a show cave. Its two levels of galleries, about 2.5 km in all, are wide enough for a truck and stay at 12–16°C through the year. Walk past an amethyst geode display, a wish cave and themed halls, or take a boat across the underground lake; the upper level holds a Jurassic World of dinosaur models and lanterns.
