Show Champion — MBC PLUS’s Wednesday chart show

Show Champion is MBC PLUS’s live music show. Its official page calls it a live music show where you can see “K-pop champion” stages, airing on MBC every1 and MBC M every Wednesday at 5 p.m. Korea time. Each week’s lineup, and any skipped weeks, are posted on the program’s notice board — there was no show on Sept. 23 or Sept. 30, 2026.

MBC PLUS posted its chart rules on July 17, 2026: digital music 35% (rankings on Melon, Genie Music, FLO and Bugs), broadcast 20% (acts on that day’s show), pre-vote 20% (the Idol Champ app), album sales 15% (Hanteo Chart) and social media 10% (Circle Chart). Music, album and social scores cover Monday to Sunday of the week before; the pre-vote runs from 8 p.m. the Friday before to 2:59 p.m. on the Monday of broadcast week.

Each act can enter one officially released song. Pre-release singles, remakes, OSTs, songs from TV programs, in-house project groups and trot songs are left out, and a song with three total wins (a “Triple Champion”) is retired. The top five’s scores go up on the official site after each show.

In Korea it airs live on MBC every1 and MBC M, and Top Star News reports it can also be streamed on OTT services such as Wavve. MBC PLUS’s YouTube channel ALL THE K-POP posts Show Champion stages and fancams, and its channel page lists the show live every Wednesday at 5 p.m. KST. The official page has no public audience-application guide, so check MBC PLUS’s notices before planning a visit.
