CORTIS — ‘REDRED’

CORTIS is a five-member boy group from BIGHIT MUSIC (HYBE): MARTIN, JAMES, JUHOON, SEONGHYEON and KEONHO. ‘REDRED’ came out with its music video on April 20, 2026, ahead of the mini album ‘GREENGREEN’ on May 4. The song uses colors as a metaphor — green for what the group goes after, red for what it keeps at a distance — and all five members are credited after writing at a song camp in Los Angeles.

On October 2, ‘REDRED’ topped KBS2 Music Bank’s K-Chart for the first week of October — its 12th music-show trophy, won with zero broadcast points. CORTIS had already won on all five major music shows. On Billboard’s charts dated October 3 it was still on the Global 200 (No. 198) and Global Excl. U.S. (No. 100), 22 weeks in a row, and it was No. 3 on Circle’s digital chart for September 20–26.

What to notice: the sound is rough and electronic, with a repeating, catchy beat that doesn’t fit one genre. Sports Kyunghyang singles out the addictive ‘flapping ear’ move in the choreography, and the members gave their own ideas for the video and the performance.
