What it is

‘BAD’ is the title track of ‘GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5’, the 14th mini album from eight-member boy group ATEEZ (KQ Entertainment), released June 26, 2026. It mixes hip hop and Latin pop over a punchy drumline, with some Spanish lyrics, and sings about longing for one special person. Hollywood actress Chase Infiniti makes a cameo in the music video, and ATEEZ also released a remix with Steve Aoki.

Why it’s trending

The album sold 1,885,712 copies in its first week on Hanteo, a group record, and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 — ATEEZ’s third time. The song grew slowly: it entered Melon’s TOP100 at No. 81 and had climbed to No. 7 by September 13. It won Show! Music Core (Aug 22) and Inkigayo (Sept 13) without the group appearing, then took its seventh trophy on Inkigayo on September 20 with 4,657 points.

Where to listen & watch

The official music video is on KQ ENTERTAINMENT’s YouTube channel, and the song is on Melon and global streaming services.

What to notice: watch the chorus. A Korean report citing Forbes said member San’s chorus dance part was the most-replayed moment of the music video, and fan edits of that part spread widely in short videos. Listen, too, for the Spanish lines and the drumline that drives the Latin-pop beat.
