Booking
KKday sells a K-drama locations tour from Seoul that pairs Sunshine Studio with Jeonju Hanok Village, and Klook sells a Nonsan day tour with about 1.5 hours here.
Sunshine Studio was built as the main set for Mr. Sunshine, the drama set at the turn of the 20th century, and has since been used for other period dramas such as Pachinko and Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938. On about 6,000 pyeong (roughly 20,000 m²), it recreates Hanseong, as Seoul was then called, in the years when Korea was opening up to the world: five modern Western-style buildings, 19 tile-roofed hanok, four thatched houses and nine Japanese-style houses. Inside are a screening room with drama highlights, exhibitions, a cafe and a shop where you can rent costumes like those the actors wore.
