Booking
Klook and GetYourGuide sell walking tours that take in Naksan Park, including sunset and evening walks along the fortress wall.
Naksan rises between Daehak-ro and Dongdaemun. Its shape earned it the nickname 'camel mountain', and a royal dairy pasture that supplied milk to the palace gave it another old name, Tarak-san. Apartment blocks and dense housing covered the hill from the 1960s, until Seoul restored it and opened Naksan Park in 2002. The central plaza has the Naksan Exhibition Hall, with displays on the hill's history and models of the city wall, while the Naksanjeong pavilion gives a sweeping view of the city. The park also appears in the Netflix animation KPop Demon Hunters, where Rumi and Jinu walk and talk by the wall.
