Booking

Klook sells a canola-season day tour from Seoul that spends about 3 hours here, with entrance included and rides paid on site.

Two emerald-green lakes, Cheongokho and Geumgokho, now fill the pits where limestone was dug, framed by huge cut faces of limestone. For thrills there's a sky glider, an alpine coaster, an off-road luge and a roller-coaster-style zip line. The site was a working limestone mine (Mureung district 3) for Ssangyong C&E, which set up in Donghae in 1968, until some 50 years of quarrying came to an end. Its name comes from words carved on a rock in nearby Mureung Valley, describing a utopia apart from the world with the finest scenery under heaven.
