Booking
GetYourGuide sells a private car charter from Gwangju whose 8-hour Mokpo route rides the cable car and visits Yudalsan and the Modern History Museum.
Opened in September 2019, the Mokpo Marine Cable Car runs 3.23 km over Yudalsan Mountain and out across the sea, rising as high as 155 m; KTO calls it the longest and highest in Korea. From the cabin you look down on Mokpo's old downtown and the North Port, then out over Gohado Island and the scattered islands of the southwest coast.

Tips
- Ticket sales stop an hour before closing, so arrive with time to spare, especially on weekday evenings in winter when it shuts at 19:00.
