Kim Gye-haeng (pen name Bobaekdang) quit office under the tyrant king Yeonsangun, went home, and in 1500 built this pavilion in a secluded gorge across the stream from Mukgye Seowon, where water slides over broad rocks in a series of falls. Three bays wide, it has an open front veranda railed on three sides, with small ondol rooms at each end; later repairs gave parts of it a late-Joseon look. The single-log bridge that leads to it appeared on a TV dating show.
