Booking

Klook sells a seasonal spring day tour from Seoul or Busan to the Jinhae cherry blossom festival that stops at Gyeonghwa Station.

Gyeonghwa is a small station in Jinhae, between Seongjusa and Jinhae stations, that stopped handling passengers in 2006. In spring the cherry trees along the line form a tunnel, and you can walk right on the tracks, about 800 m from the station toward Sehwa Girls' High School. It appears in the film Boy Goes to Heaven and the drama Spring Waltz. During the Jinhae Gunhangje festival a blossom shuttle train runs and passing trains slow down so visitors can enjoy the scene.

Tips

  • Trains still pass through here, slowly, so keep an eye on the track while you take photos.
  • It's usually quieter than Yeojwacheon, according to KTO, so come here if the stream walk is packed.
