What it is
Netflix Korea's official trailer for Dead-End Job (Korean title: Kkul-alba, roughly "a sweet gig"). Lee Jae-wook plays Hyeok-jun, who signs up with a strange staffing agency that only offers jobs paying 50 times the usual hourly wage, and is sent into workplaces full of horrors. Go Min-si plays Yeon-ju, an accident investigator, Kim Min-ha plays his younger sister Ji-yun, and Lee Hee-joon plays the agency's boss.
Why people are watching
Netflix calls it a mystery horror fantasy, and its hook is easy to relate to: being broke is scarier than ghosts. It's directed by Kim Da-min, a co-writer of Netflix's A Killer Paradox, with Han Jun-hee as creative director. The trailer landed in mid-October, two weeks before all eight episodes drop on October 30. While it was being made, its English title was Perfect Job.
